Video: The Analysis of the Patch Antenna

The patch (microstrip) antenna is described and analyzed in this video. The goal is an intuitive idea of antennas; hence, very little equations are used. Rather, broad ideas based on basic concepts are introduced to try to gain the intuition behind what gives rise to the patch antenna's radiation. Bandwidth, polarization and impedance are also discussed.
